Our Philosophy

McKee Foods — A Family Bakery
McKee Foods is a privately-held, family-run company best known for our line of Little Debbie brand snack cakes. Since 1934, McKee Foods has been blessed with a reputation for doing business the right way. Our founders, O.D. and Ruth McKee, instinctively knew that great companies are built on the principle of doing the right thing every day and in treating all people honestly, fairly and with respect. It is this example that the third and fourth generation family owners still follow today.
McKee Foods is still owned and operated by the McKee family. O.D and Ruth's grandchildren lead the enterprise now, and the fourth generation is not far behind. We've grown tremendously, but we keep a sharp eye on what got us here today — honesty, integrity, innovation and fair treatment of our employees, vendors and consumers.
