FUN AND EASY FAMILY MARSHMALLOW EASTER EGG STARTS WITH LITTLE DEBBIE MARSHMALLOW TREATS

Collegedale, Tenn.—Beautiful, colorful designer-style marshmallow eggs are just a few easy steps away with Little Debbie Marshmallow Treat Easter Eggs.
This recipe is made with Little Debbie Marshmallow Treats as a base. Little Debbie Marshmallow Treats are colorful bars of crisp rice cereal in lovely Easter colors. They are available eight to a carton and are individually wrapped for freshness.

MARSHMALLOW TREAT EASTER EGGS

2 Easter Eggs

Two 6.7-ounce packages Little Debbie Marshmallow Treats
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons whipping cream
Red food coloring
Green food coloring
Yellow food coloring
Blue food coloring
Decorative sugars, sprinkles, candies and other edible garnishes, optional
  1. After removing plastic wrapping from the Marshmallow Treats, place each treat on a clean, smooth work surface. Starting with short ends, roll each treat jellyroll style into an even cylinder. Using fingertips, round out the ends of each cylinder to shape each treat into an egg; flatten on one end. Stand eggs on flat ends.
  2. Place powdered sugar in a small bowl. Add whipping cream to bowl; stir with a whisk until smooth. Divide sugar mixture evenly into 4 small bowls. Add 2 to 3 drops of red food coloring to one bowl; stir with a whisk until evenly colored and smooth. Scrape pink frosting mixture into a small zip-top bag using a plastic spatula, pressing frosting to one corner of bag. Make a small snip in corner with a pair of kitchen scissors. Repeat procedure 3 times with remaining frosting, food color and 3 plastic bags.
  3. Decorate eggs with colored frosting. Embellish egg decorations with decorative sugar, candies and other edible garnishes, if desired. Let eggs stand 2 hours or until set.

Makes 16 eggs.
