Backhaul

• McKee Foods Transportation, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of McKee Foods Corporation, distributes Little Debbie snack cakes throughout the continental United States and Canada every week.
• Operating a private fleet allows us to offer competitive backhaul rates along the nation’s major interstate corridors.
• The fleet consists of 48-foot-by-102-inch insulated trailers hauled by driver teams. Over half of the trailers are outfitted with air-ride suspensions, and all are capable of hauling loads up to 45,000 pounds.
• Each load is insured up to a value of $250,000.
• McKee Foods Transportation’s trucks are based in Collegedale, Tennessee; Gentry, Arkansas; Stuarts Draft, Virginia; and Kingman, Arizona. We are most interested in securing inbound freight bound for places near these locations.
• Hauling only unitized loads (pallets, slipsheets, etc.) of nonhazardous materials allows us to instill confidence in all parties. McKee Foods Transportation will not accept loads containing chemicals, explosives, raw or unprocessed agricultural goods, live plants, refuse, hazardous materials, tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, or products that require temperature control. Securely packaged glass products may be acceptable under special circumstances. Drivers do not load or unload freight, and we do not participate in pallet exchange.
